The client needed a cost effective solution to show to the viewer life as an Evacuee in Britain in 1939 at the outbreak of War.
Using a similar documentary approach to the The Hop Story, a script was devised,
which included a lady of a suitable age reminiscing about her life as a young girl
evacuated from London with her elder brother to a farm near Battle during
Operation Pied Piper.
Although all the characters were fictional the story was based on real events and
with a great deal of cooperation from the Evacuees Reunion Association we were
able to produce an authentic and interesting story. A short clip can bee seen on the Movies page.
Displayed on a 32 inch LCD screen with a pair of 7watt speakers and playback via a digital solid state media player which dose away with the need of a DVD player and amplifier, proved to have a big saving on hardware costs.
